Shanghai-based Chinese steelmaker
Baosteel Group has announced that it has completed an amendment of registration at
China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) and renamed its subsidiary Baoshan Iron & Steel Co.Ltd (
Baosteel) as
China Baowu Iron & Steel Group Co.Ltd (
China Baowu Steel). Property rights and the relationship between the company and its controlling shareholder have not changed after the amendment of registration.
