Baosteel inks agreeement on cooperation with Mitsubishi Corp.

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Corporation has recently signed an agreement on cooperation with Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation. He Wenbo, general manager of Baosteel, as well as Dai Zhihao and Zhao Zhouli, vice general managers of the Chinese steelmaker, were present at the signing ceremony.

Under the agreement, the two companies are to cooperate in the areas of lithium battery development, emissions discharge, water supply, thermal power generation, and also on a research and development program carried out in association with Ohio, US-based non-profit applied science and technology development company Battelle Memorial Institute.
