Baosteel develops P36 high pressure boiler tube

Shanghai-based Chinese steel producer Baosteel has announced that its tube and pipe division has succeeded in developing P36 high pressure boiler tube.

The product in question can be used as a substitute for thick-walled carbon tubes. P36 tubes of 59 mm wall thickness can used in place of super-thick SA-106C tubes of over 90 mm wall thickness.
