Baosteel completes first export order for new CR stainless mill output

120 mt of 304 series cold rolled stainless steel produced by leading Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has been delivered to the US, in what is the first export order completed by Baosteel for production from its new cold rolled stainless steel project.

Following the founding of Baosteel Stainless Steel Division and through the efforts of Baosteel distribution subsidiary Shanghai Baosteel International Economic Trade Corporation Ltd, Baosteel ships stainless products directly to the warehouses of overseas customers, while providing a comprehensive range of processing services. Meanwhile, Baosteel Stainless Steel Division's exports reached a new record of almost 100,000 metric tons in 2009.
