Baosteel commissions third phase of grain oriented silicon steel project

Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel announced on August 8 that it has commissioned the third phase of grain oriented silicon steel project. The third phase with an annual production capacity of 300,000 mt helps Baosteel to reduce cost and improve market competitiveness.

The construction of the third phase began on June 15, 2011 and took more than two years to be completed.
