Baosteel breaks ground on can production facility

Baosteel Can Making Northern Branch, a joint venture invested by Beijing Quanshun Group and wholly-owned Baosteel subsidiary Shanghai Baosteel Business Development, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new two-piece can production facility on March 21, 2005. The RMB 300 million ($36.25 million) plant located in Zunhua, Hebei, will be the biggest and the most advanced two-piece can manufacturer in China once it is completed. It will boast an annual capacity of 700 million two-piece cans.
