Baogang’s net profit down 20 percent in 2014

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang) has issued its financial report for 2014, announcing an operating revenue of RMB 29.792 billion ($4.81 billion), down 21.12 percent, and a net profit of RMB 200 million ($32.26 million), decreasing by 20.09 percent, both year on year.

In 2014, Baogang produced 8.90 million mt of pig iron, 8.70 million mt of crude steel and 8.29 million mt of finished steel.
