Baogang posts strong Q1 iron ore output at beneficiation plant

In the first quarter of the current year, the beneficiation plant of Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steel producer Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) produced 265,900 mt of processed iron ore, increasing by 1.66 percent compared to the average quarterly production volume in 2011.

The output volume was also 0.59 percent higher than the targeted output for the first quarter, according to the company statement, and constituted the best quarterly output performance of Baogang's beneficiation plant in the past year.
