Baogang commissions new 159 mm seamless steel pipe production line

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) has announced that it commissioned its new 159 mm seamless steel pipe production line on September 23.
 
Work on the project lasted two years. Its designed annual production capacity is 400,000 mt, and it will produce steel pipes of 38-168.3 mm diameter and 2.9-25 mm thickness.
 
With its new production line completed, Baogang Group's seamless steel pipe mill now has six production lines with an overall annual production capacity of 2 million mt
