Axel Eggert confirmed as new director general of EUROFER

The European Steel Association (EUROFER) has announced that the acting director general Axel Eggert was confirmed as the new director general of EUROFER on November 1.
 
From 2007 to September this year, Eggert was EUROFER's director for public affairs and communication, and since October 1 he had served as acting director general.
 
At the end of September this year, EUROFER director general Gordon Moffat stepped down after 27 years with EUROFER.
