Average second-grade coke price in China up 6.7 percent in early Sept

In early September (September 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,200.0/mt ($184.6/mt) and RMB 2,067.4/mt ($318.1/mt), increasing by RMB 100.0/mt ($15.4/mt) and RMB 129.1/mt ($19.9/mt), compared to prices in late August (August 21-31), i.e., up 9.1 percent and 6.7 percent respectively , as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on September 14.
