Average second-grade coke price in China down 2.1 percent in mid-June

In mid-June (June 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,000.0/mt ($146.2/mt), remaining stable compared to prices in early June (June 1-10), while prices of second-grade metallurgical coke was recorded at RMB 1,524/mt ($222.8/mt), decreasing by RMB 32.4/mt ($4.74/mt), down 2.1 percent compared to prices in early June (June 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on June 26.
