Australian service provider confirms talks with Fortescue

Perth, Australia-based service provider Leighton Holdings Limited has addressed media reports regarding an A$3.6 billion mining contract with the Australian miner Fortescue.
 
The reports have said that Fortescue is planning to award Leighton with a mining services contract for its Solomon Hub expansion project in Western Australia.
 
Responding to the reports, Leighton has confirmed that it is carrying out negotiations with Fortescue regarding the project but has also stated that no contract has been signed yet.
