Australia announces AD duty rates for certain rebar imports

Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced definitive antidumping (AD) duty rates for rebar imports from South Korea, Singapore, Spain, and Taiwan. The duty rates are in the range of 9.7-14.3 percent for South Korea, 3.0-8.2 percent for Spain and 2.8-6.8 percent for Taiwan, while the duty rate stands at three percent for Singapore.
 
In October this year Australia terminated the antidumping duty investigation against rebar imports from Malaysia, Thailand and Turkey, finding that the imports were either not dumped or the volume of dumped goods from the countries in question were found to be negligible.
 
The products subject to antidumping duty currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214.20.00, 7228.30.90, 7213.10.00 and 7227.90.90.
