Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated an anti-circumvention investigation regarding galvanized steel imports from South Korea and Taiwan.

The domestic steel producer BlueScope Steel Limited (BlueScope) alleged that the two countries export galvanized steel adding very small amounts of alloys in order to avoid existing antidumping measures.

The antidumping duty was initially imposed in August 2013, with the duty rates ranging between 3.2 percent to 28.5 percent for South Korea and Taiwan.
