Australia initiates AD review on rebar imports from China’s Shagang and Valin

Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated a review regarding the antidumping (AD) order on imports of rebar from Chinese companies Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd. (Shagang) and Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Valin) to examine whether the variable factors relevant to the taking of the antidumping measures have changed.  

The review launched upon the application lodged by Shagang and Valin covers the period between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017 and covers the exports of the goods to Australia from China by Shagang and Valin.

The products subject to antidumping review currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Number 7213.10.00, 7214.20.00, 7227.90.10, 7227.90.90, 7228.30.10, 7228.30.90 and 7228.60.10.
