Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated a review regarding the antidumping (AD) order on aluminum zinc-coated steel imports from Chinese companies Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd (Baosteel) and Shanghai Meishan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd (Meishan) to examine whether the variable factors relevant to the taking of the antidumping measures have changed. The antidumping duty was originally imposed in August 2013.

The review launched upon the application lodged by Baosteel and Meishan covers the period between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.

Currently, the dumping margins range between 5.5 percent and 19.3 percent for China.

The products subject to antidumping review currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Number 7210.61.00.
