Australia imposes AD duty on quenched and tempered steel plate imports

The Australian Government Antidumping Commission has announced that it has imposed an antidumping (AD) duty on quenched and tempered steel plate imports from Finland, Japan and Sweden.
 
As a result of the antidumping investigation in question, the Antidumping Commission found that the quenched and tempered steel plate exported to Australia from the countries in question was dumped with margins ranging from 21.7 percent to 34 percent.
 
The definitive antidumping duty rates stand at 10.8 percent for Finland, 24.5 percent and 26.1 percent for Japan and 9.6 percent for Sweden.
 
The product subject to the antidumping duty currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Number 7225.40.00.
