The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) has announced that it has terminated the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation regarding galvanized steel and aluminum zinc-coated steel imports from certain Chinese companies.

The ACBPS has found that the subsidy margins on the galvanized steel imports from Angang Steel Company Limited (Ansteel) and ANSC TKS Galvanising Co., Ltd (TAGAL) and on the aluminum zinc-coated steel imports from Ansteel are not more than two percent. Therefore, the countervailing duty investigation regarding the imports from the abovementioned Chinese companies has been terminated.

The countervailing duty investigations regarding the galvanized steel and aluminum zinc-coated steel imports from China will continue.
