Indian steel wheel rim producer Steel Strips Wheels Limited (SSWL) has announced a large amount of long-term orders from German automaker Audi. This is SSWL's second export order from a German automaker as BMW had awarded the company with orders for its ‘MINI' vehicle, the company said.

The awarded contract has a potential for exports worth over US$38 million over a five-year period. The company expects to start supplies in the first quarter of 2011.
