Argentinian pipe producer Tenaris Siderca, from the Techint group, is looking to secure a pipe supply deal for three gas pipelines in Argentina, according to local media.

Both Siderca and Siat, another pipe producer owned by Tenaris, are currently competing with Chinese Sinopec to win a deal to provide pipes for three pipelines: the Gasoducto Regional Centro II, the Gasoducto de la Costa and the Sistema Cordillerano.

The Argentinian government said a new system for the supply of gas will be built at the existing Gasoducto Regional Centro II pipeline. Meanwhile, the Gasoducto de la Costa pipeline will expand its capacity and the Sistema Cordillerano will also be expanded, according to the Argentinian government.
