Argentina’s industrial production declines 6.4 percent in June

Argentinian industrial production declined 6.4 percent in June, year­on­year, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency, Indec.

According to Indec’s data, Argentina’s industrial output in H1 fell 3.3 percent, year­on­year.

Automotive industrial output in June diminished 21.6 percent, year­on­year, Indec said.

According to a Indec’s qualitative survey, which measures the expectancies of the nation’s industrial companies, 53.3 percent expect a stable pace for domestic demand in Q3 on a year-on-year basis, while 27.7 percent foresee a decrease and 19 percent anticipate an increase in the domestic demand.

Out of the interviewed exporting companies, 49.3 percent expect a stable Q3 on a year­on­year basis. However, 31.5 percent expect an increase and 19.2 percent a decline in the industry’s exports in Q3.
