Argentina's crude steel output up 24.1 percent in January

According to a report released by Argentina's steel chamber, in January this year the country's crude steel production was down 8.4 percent month on month and increased by 24.1 percent year on year, amounting to 397,100 metric tons.

In January of the current year, Argentina's production of hot rolled steel amounted to 389,700 metric tons, down 3.9 percent month on month and rising by 1.6 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given month the country's cold rolled flat steel production increased by 7.6 percent month on month and decreased by six percent year on year to 123,800 metric tons.
