Argentina's Steel Industry Chamber (CIS) has disclosed that the country's crude steel production in May decreased six percent to 444,600 metric tons as compared to 472,800 metric tons in April. In addition, the country's crude steel production in May indicates a fall of 9.7 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Argentinian hot rolled steel output increased 3.5 percent year on year to 448,700 metric tons in May, while cold rolled steel output rose 16.9 percent to 132,600 metric tons.
