Argentina’s auto output rises 66.9 percent in March from February

Argentina’s auto production output in March this year totaled 40,107 units, rising by 66.9 percent month on month and down 13.2 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
 
According to Adefa, in March Argentinian auto exports increased by 35.4 percent compared to the previous month and were up by 1.8 percent compared to March last year to 17,508 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in March totaled 68,947, increasing by 5.6 percent month on month and growing by 13.6 percent year on year.
 
The nation’s automotive industry produced 90,905 units in the January-March period of this year, 7.4 percent less year on year. In the same period, exports rose to 40,193 units, up 14 percent year on year.
