Argentina’s auto production output in June this year totaled 45,496 units, rising by 0.5 percent month on month and up 9.2 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, in June Argentinian auto exports decreased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month and were up by 36.1 percent compared to June last year to 19,701 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in June totaled 80,172, increasing by 0.8 percent month on month and growing by 26.9 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 219,404 units in the first half of this year, 2.1 percent less year on year. In the same period, exports rose to 98,421 units, up 11 percent year on year.
