Argentina's auto output down 34.5 percent in August

In August this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) decreased by 7.17 percent compared to July and by 34.52 percent year on year, amounting to 45,787 units, according to the report released by country's auto association (ADEFA). Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 403,534 units, down 24.77 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
 
In August, Argentina's auto exports totaled 27,442 units, up 13.94 percent month on month and down 18.15 percent year on year. In the first eight months, the country's auto exports decreased by 24.78 percent year on year to 222,902 units
