Argentina's auto output down 23.7 percent in Jan-Oct

In October this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) increased by 5.3 percent compared to September but decreased by 19.5 percent year on year, amounting to 60,845 units, according to the report released by the country's auto association (ADEFA). Meanwhile, in the first 10 months of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 522,136 units, down 23.7 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
 
In October, Argentina's auto exports totaled 36,717 units, up 22.1 percent month on month and down 14.4 percent year on year. In the first 10 months, the country's auto exports decreased by 22.9 percent year on year to 289,692 units.
