Argentina’s auto output decreases 11.2 percent in October from September

Argentina’s auto production output in October this year totaled 37,832 units, falling by 11.2 percent month on month and down 16.4 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
 
According to Adefa, in October Argentinian auto exports decreased by 20.9 percent compared to the previous month and were down by 25.9 percent compared to October 2015 to 13,959 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in October totaled 56,357, decreasing by 16.9 percent month on month and growing by nine percent month on month.
 
The nation’s automotive industry produced 385,727 units in the January-October period of the current year, 14.2 percent less than in the same period of the previous year. Likewise, exports also declined in the first ten months of this year to 149,675 units, down 28.9 percent year on year.
