Argentina's auto exports down 24 percent in Jan-Sept

In September this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) increased by 26.1 percent compared to August and decreased by 36.3 percent year on year, amounting to 57,757 units, according to the report released by country's auto association (ADEFA). Meanwhile, in the first nine months of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 461,291 units, down 24.2 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
 
In September, Argentina's auto exports totaled 30,073 units, up 9.6 percent month on month and down 24.8 percent year on year. In the first nine months, the country's auto exports decreased by 24 percent year on year to 252,975 units.
