Argentina Chamber of Steel VP appointed to MERCOFER council

The Vice President of the Argentina Chamber of Steel, Joseph Giraudo, was appointed Chairman of the Council of Mercosur Siderúrgico (MERCOFER) this week.

The organization brings together the nation’s steel companies to promote free competition and fair trade, and harmonizing the general interests of the steel industry in the region, said the institution in a statement.

Joseph Giraudo has a degree in Economics with various graduate programs in Business Administration and currently serves as CEO of the firm Acindar ArcelorMittal Group.
