ArcelorMittal to supply steel fibers for Doha metro lines

Global steelmaker ArcelorMittal has announced that ArcelorMittal WireSolutions will supply approximately 21,500 mt of steel fibers to be used in three lines of the new Doha Metro in Qatar. This represents WireSolutions' first delivery of steel fibers to the Middle East, and the company's largest-ever delivery of steel fibers.
 
The steel will be supplied by WireSolutions sites in Bissen (Luxembourg), Sheffield (United Kingdom), and Sycow (Poland). The deliveries for the different metro lines will be completed in 2016.
