ArcelorMittal Temirtau to reduce shipments to Belarus in 2009

ArcelorMittal Temirtau, Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of steel giant ArcelorMittal, expects to reduce its shipment of steel products to Belarus in 2009 by about 22.2 percent year on year to 79,000 mt.

Accordingly in 2008, ArcelorMittal Temirtau's deliveries of steel products to Belarus amounted to 101,600 mt, including 43,900 mt of hot rolled products, 33,000 mt of cold rolled products, 18,100 mt of galvanized steel products, and 3,900 mt of polymer coated steel products.  The total value of the producer's sales to Belarus in 2008 amounted to $96.1 million.
