ArcelorMittal Temirtau starts up new longs mill

ArcelorMittal Temirtau, Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of steel giant ArcelorMittal, has commissioned production at its new long steel producing mill.

The new mill worth $150 million has an annual production capacity of 400,000 mt. The new mill will produce rebar, channels, angles, and other structural steel products to be used for the needs of the construction industry. The products manufactured at the new mill are to target the domestic market in Kazakhstan
