ArcelorMittal Piombino to idle pickling and CR lines in Q4

Robrecht Himpe, the CEO of ArcelorMittal Flat Carbon Europe, has announced that in the last three months of the current year Italy-based ArcelorMittal Piombino will idle its pickling and cold rolling lines. 250 employees will be temporarily laid off due to the measure, which represents around half of the workforce at the facility.
 
ArcelorMittal Piombino produces cold rolled, galvanized and color coated flat steel products.
