ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s finished steel output up 3.1% in Jan-Sept

In the first nine months of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 4.7639 million mt, down 0.06 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the first nine months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih saw a 3.1 percent increase year on year in its finished steel output to 4.1775 million mt, while its pig iron production decreased by 0.6 percent year on year to 4.1469 million mt.

In September alone, crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih decreased by 3.5 percent to 533,700 mt, output of finished steel decreased by 3.2 percent to 476,500 mt, while production of pig iron moved up by 2.5 percent to 492,100 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
