ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output up 1.24% in January-June

In the first six months of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 3.07 million mt, up 1.24 percent year on year, as announced by the company. Its pig iron production in the given period increased by 1.6 percent to 2.71 million mt, while its finished steel output rose by 1.3 percent to 2.71 million mt, both compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, in June alone, crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih amounted to 492,900 mt, down 11.4 percent, output of finished steel decreased by 12 percent to 438,100 mt and production of pig iron fell by 11.8 percent to 432,400 mt, all year on year.
