ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output falls 13 percent in January-June

In the January-June period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 2.674 million mt, down 13 percent year on year. In addition, in the first six months of the year, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered an 11 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 2.345 million mt and a 15 percent decline in its pig iron production to 2.274 million mt.

During the period in question, coke production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih declined by one percent to 1.300 million mt, while its iron ore concentrate output increased by six percent to 4.548 million mt - both on year-on-year basis.
