Anyang Steel ups ex-factory prices

On May 9, Hebei Province-based Anyang Steel announced its ex-factory prices for some products. The details are as follows:

1. The prices of rebar and round bar have been increased RMB 70/mt ($9.1/mt). Following the adjustment, the mill's 20 mm diameter HRB 335 costs RMB 3,439/mt ($447/mt).

2. Angle steel and channel steel have gone up RMB 70/mt ($9.1/mt), and so the price of 50 mm x 5 mm Q235 A/B angel steel is now RMB 3,427/mt ($446/mt), while 6.3-10# Q235 A/B channel steel is at RMB 3,298/mt ($429/mt).

3. The price of medium plate has been hiked RMB 82/mt ($10.7/mt). As a result, the medium plate products of the mill are now at RMB 4,142/mt ($537/mt), while the prices of Steckel mill products are at RMB 4,326/mt ($551/mt).

The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 9.
