Anyang Steel posts increased rebar output for H1

Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Group Co. (Angang) has announced that in the first half of the current year it produced 928,600 mt of rebar, up 51,700 mt year on year. In the given period, rebar production accounted for 96.85 percent of the total output at Anyang Steel's steel bar production lines.

In the first six months of the current year, Anyang Steel's production of HRB 400 rebar amounted to 588,820 mt, indicating a year-on-year increase of 146,600 mt.
