Ansteel sees 93.4 percent decline in net profit in Q1

On April 27, Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel Co. (Ansteel) issued its financial report for the first quarter of the current year. Accordingly, in the given period, the producer recorded an operating revenue of RMB 14.961 billion ($2.41 billion), down 18.69 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 19 million ($3.06 million), decreasing by 93.36 percent year on year.
