Anshan Steel commissions new wire rod production line

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel Company has announced that it has successfully commissioned its newly-built high quality wire rod production line which has an annual production capacity of 600,000 mt.

As a part of the company's strategic development plan, the new line will produce high quality wire rods which are intended to substitute imported products. The line in question will also have the ability to produce super low carbon steel products.
