Anshan New Steel announces November prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 8, Anshan New Steel announced its ex-factory prices of some products for November. The details are as follows: Prices of hot rolled sheet increased RMB 100/mt ($13). As a result, the ex-factory price of 3.0 mm Q235 is now at RMB 3,250/mt ($411), while the price including tax is at RMB 3,802.5/mt ($481). Prices of cold rolled sheet increased RMB 50/mt ($6). Thus, the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm ST12 now stands at RMB 4,000/mt ($506), while the price including tax is at RMB 4,680/mt ($592). As regards the products of its seamless steel tube plant (except oil pipe and line pipe): Prices of 108-133 mm diameter products decreased RMB 100/mt ($13). Prices of <105 mm diameter products decreased RMB 200/mt ($25). Anshan New Steel also released its November price of galvanized coil and color coated coil. The ex-factory price of the two products in question remains unchanged compared with October. In the November price list, the price of 1.0 mm ST01Z galvanized coils is RMB 5,686/mt ($720) including 17 percent VAT, and that of 0.45 mm TST01 color coated coil is RMB 7,020/mt ($889) including 17 percent VAT. The above prices, unless otherwise specified, all exclude taxes and are effective as of November 8, 2006.
