ANSC announces October prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Liaoning province based Angang New Steel Company (ANSC) decreased the ex-factory prices of October prices for most of its products. The price details are listed hereafter: 1. Hot rolled: The prices decreased RMB 269/mt ($34). The new ex-factory price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,533/mt ($444). 2. Cold rolled: The prices decreased RMB 269/mt ($34). The new ex-factory price of 1.0 mm thick ST12 cold rolled sheet is RMB 4,680/mt ($588). 3. Galvanized coil: The prices remained unchanged, and the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm thick ST01Z galvanized coil retained RMB 5,686/mt ($714) level. 4. Color coated coil: The prices decreased RMB 234/mt ($29). The ex-factory price of 0.45 mm thick TST01 galvanized coil became RMB 7,020/mt ($882). 5. CR electric steel: The prices increased RMB 117/mt ($15) (except the products with thickness of 0.35 mm). The ex-factory price of 50AW600 electric steel reached RMB 5,675/mt ($713). The above prices include VAT and are effective as of September 11, 2006.
