Angang releases July ex-factory prices

On June 12, Liaoning Province-based Angang issued July ex-factory prices for its products. The details are as follows:

1. HR

The ex-factory price has remained unchanged compared with June. The new price of Q235 3.0 mm thick HRC is RMB 3,950/mt ($518/mt), while that of Q235 5.5 mm thick HRC is RMB 3,820/mt ($501/mt)

2. Medium plate

The ex-factory price has increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After adjustment, the new price of Q235 20.0 mm thick medium plate is RMB 3,750/mt ($492/mt)

3. Wire rod

The ex-factory price of carbon wire rod has risen RMB 50/mt ($7/mt).

The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 12, 2007.
