Angang releases ex-factory prices for August

On July 14, Liaoning Province-based Anshan Iron & Steel Corporation (Angang) released its ex-factory prices for August. The details are as follows

1. HRC
Prices have increased RMB 200/mt ($29/mt). Thus, the new price of 3.0 mm x 1,500 mm SPHC is RMB 5,650/mt ($827/mt), while the price of 3.0 mm x 1,500 mm Q235 is RMB 5,550/mt ($813/mt).

2. CRC
Prices have risen RMB 120/mt ($18/mt). As a result, the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm x 1,000 mm x C St12 is RMB 6,190/mt ($906/mt), while that of 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm x C St12 is RMB 6,090/mt ($892/mt).

Price levels have remained unchanged for other products.

The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 14, 2008.
