Angang released September price list

SteelOrbis Shanghai Liaoning province based Angang New Steel Co. Ltd announced its price list for September on August 24, 2006. The prices of some products decreased. The details are as follows: I. Hot rolled coil HRC prices decreased RMB 450/mt ($57). The new price of 2.75 mm SPHC is RMB 3,380/mt ($425), that of 5.75 mm SS400 is RMB 3,250/mt ($408). II. Cold rolled 1. For cold rolled with thickness <2.6 mm, prices of common carbon structural steel decreased RMB 400/mt ($50). The price of 1.0 mm SPCC became RMB 4,180/mt ($525). Prices of quality carbon structural steel, low carbon drawn steel, and corrosion resistance steel decreased RMB 230/mt ($29), that of low carbon deep drawn steel and ultra low carbon ultra deep drawn steel decreased RMB 200/mt ($25). 2. For cold rolled with thickness > 2.6 mm, prices of common carbon structural steel decreased RMB 350/mt ($44), among which, that of 2.6 mm SPCC became RMB 4,170/mt ($524). Prices of quality carbon structural steel, low carbon drawn steel, and corrosion resistance steel decreased RMB 180/mt ($23), that of low carbon deep drawn steel and ultra low carbon ultra deep drawn steel decreased RMB 150/mt ($19). III. Plate 1. Medium plate prices decreased RMB 680/mt ($85) (except shipbuilding plate, steel for engineering machine, steel for cutting tool, 15CrMog, 12 Cr1MoVg, 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 15CrMoR, and 12Cr1MoVR). The price of 20 mm Q235 became RMB 3,120/mt ($392). 2. Shipbuilding plate price decreased RMB 430/mt ($54). 3. Prices of mechanical steel, tool steel, 15CrMog, 12 Cr1MoVg, 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 15CrMoR, 12Cr1MoVR decreased RMB 400/mt ($50). VAT is excluded from the above prices.
