On November 8, Liaoning Province-based Anshan Iron & Steel Group Corporation (Angang) released its ex-factory flats prices for December. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
The ex-factory prices have remained unchanged compared with November. Thus, the new price of SPHC 3.1 mm x 1,000-1,199 mm x C HRC is still at RMB 3,550/mt ($478/mt).
2. CRC
The ex-factory prices are the same as the previous levels. As a result, the new price of ST12 1.0 mm thick CRC is still at RMB 4,120/mt ($555/mt).
3. Galvanized coils
November price levels are still effective. Thus, the price of St01Z 1.0 mm thick HDG remains at RMB 4,550/mt ($611/mt).
4. Color coated coils
The ex-factory prices have not changed.
5. Medium plate
Prices have increased by RMB 260/mt ($35). As a result, the new ex-factory price of Q235A 16-20 mm is RMB 4,010/mt ($540).
6. Silicon Steel
The prices have risen RMB 150/mt ($20). Following the adjustment, the new price of 50W800 CR non-oriented silicon steel is RMB 5,800/mt ($782).
The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of November 8, 2007.
