Allegheny Technologies hikes stainless steel prices
According to the statement released by Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI), ATI Allegheny Ludlum is increasing prices of hot rolled and cold rolled
stainless steel sheet, strip, precision rolled strip and
plate products. The increase of 6% will be effective for shipments of these products as of May 17, 2004. The current surcharge will not change.
It is stated that, prices will be increased due to rising costs.
