AK Steel announces November surcharges

AK Steel has informed its customers that a $193 per ton surcharge will be added to invoices for flat rolled carbon steel products shipped in November 2005. Also, a $220 per ton surcharge will be added to invoices electrical steel products for November shipments. Surcharges are based on prices for raw materials and energy used to manufacture the products, with the September 2005 purchase cost used to determine the November 2005 surcharges. AK Steel is headquartered in Middletown, Ohio and produces carbon, stainless, and electrical steel products.
